Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms apply when a business ("you") uses AfterVisit. By connecting your Square account or subscribing, you agree to them.
What AfterVisit does
After a completed appointment, paid invoice or sale in your Square account, AfterVisit emails the customer a request to review your business on Google, with at most one reminder. AfterVisit does not write, post, edit or guarantee reviews.
Your account
- You must be authorized to connect the Square account you use.
- You are responsible for the Google review link you enter and for activity under your account.
Free trial, billing and cancellation
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start, and you are not charged automatically when it ends.
- After the trial, AfterVisit costs $19 per month, billed in advance through Stripe until you cancel. Taxes may apply.
- You can cancel anytime from Manage billing in your dashboard. Requests keep going out until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires.
- If a payment fails, review requests pause until it's resolved.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price.
Your customers and the law
You send review requests to your own customers, and AfterVisit sends them on your behalf. You agree to:
- Have a lawful basis to contact the customers in your Square account.
- Follow Google's review policies. AfterVisit asks every customer the same way, and you will not use it to offer rewards for reviews or to ask only customers you expect to be happy.
- Follow email laws that apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM. AfterVisit includes an unsubscribe link and honors it.
Acceptable use
Don't use AfterVisit to send anything other than genuine review requests, to contact people who aren't your customers, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. You keep ownership of your business and customer data.
Availability
We work to keep AfterVisit running, but it depends on Square, Google and other providers and may sometimes be unavailable or delayed. AfterVisit is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, AfterVisit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the content of any review, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop at any time by canceling and disconnecting AfterVisit from Square. We may end or suspend service for a breach of these terms. Either way, you can ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use AfterVisit after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
